Hugo vervang daardie groen anti-vries met die rooies wat Toyota verkoop. Daardie groen anti-vries is nie goed vir aluminium nie. Ek vermoed jy het n water lek op jou termostaat housing waar hy teen die blok vas bout. Hy sit net bokant die alternator. Volg die onderste water pyp tot waar hy vas klamp...

Hugo , Die 4Y is seker een van die maklikste/eenvoudigte engines om n head te vervang.Ek is geensins n motor werktuigkundige nie maar het al drie head gaskets vervang op al die 4y SFA bakkies wat ek gehad sonder enige probleme daarna. Chris Cloete se werk is goed maar die prys regverdig nie werk nie...

Peter can i give you some advise. Get the genuine Toyota anti-freeze. They are ready mix ,no need to add any water. They are by fast much better than any other anti-freeze. To Add my 2c... Dry Ice is even better than ice, I bought a fridge simply because I could not stand my floating inventory after a day or so...LOL Dry Ice and 2 coolers for a start; one for the meat stuff and the other for the milk and cold drinks...the idea is that the meat cooler is then not opene...

The cheapies you refer to are probably those heat exchanger coolers and not a fridge. They are noisy and not very effective. I camped for many many years with a cooler box and ice. A coolerbox like a coleman with some ice will keep everything cool for a weekend. I take 500ml water or coldrink bottl...

Tim i have a National Luna portable dual battery system charger on which I add a CTEK D250S DUAL which also can be link to a solar panel. I can change any time from one charger to the other one and it works like a bomb.

My 4y EFI het n elektroniese dizzy op. Daar is nie vacuum pype op die eletroniese dizzies nie En nee die dictator ecu verloor nie sy settings as die battery pap of ontkoppel is nie.
