Blown Cruiser motor - Engineering Shop Wanted
Good day All, Does anyone know of a decent engineering shop in the Roodepoort area who can repair a Land Cruiser motor? Obviously the option of a conversion comes up... does one fit a Lexus etc. etc. But that's not the preferred option in this case. The owner wants to stay original and preferably ha...

Rectifier..? Why would there be a need on a DC system? My advice would be to get hold of a diagram and start checking the wiring harness, starting with the lambda sensor. You could also try Schalk @ Dynologic repairs in Pta, apparently a fundi on the Spitronics 012 547 1111 afterthought: just insta...

As for the Lexus conversion... Very nice. IMO, it sounds awesome, and you get to say you have V8 under the hood. Neither of which I have an issue with. In reality though, (again, just my opinion), there's too much power. The stories of hearing so many guys braking prop shafts and diffs and gearboxes...

Good day all, Need some advice, (maybe it's actually just moral support, because by now I'm so g@tvol with this thing I think my days of owning an SFA are coming to an end). Nonetheless, When I had distributor issues I bought a 3Y distributor from Midas which worked fine.

I'm also curios about the Bell housing or adapter plate you used.
Sump issues and so on.
