Cannot help you with a specific place, I know there is a German guy working on VW but cant even think what his name is.
Most of these places know what they do, but make sure that they pressure test the head at the machining shop if it is fixable.

If you drive down old Mitchell street PTA West there is a Magrepairs just after the Railway bridge on the left, was there last week they had 4 Fortuner / Hilux 16" rims and two sets of 4 wheels but 17" Fortuner / Hilux.

I've mounted mine using the velcro hooks on the radio to the carpet on the driver side. For the antenna I've drilled a hole in the left fender, mirror to the normal antenna position. Works well and no problems after two Namib/ia trips. Seat can still move all the way forward if required.

I'll be very carefull in canging the bashplate with just a plate. The one fitted is maybe from 1.6mm plate, but the backing constuction makes it strong. Mine is as sharp as a rasor blade at the bottom with missing chunks and one large hole, but no bends in the two stiffeners.

Ja dit is nogal beskikbaar. Ek het lank terug 'n Gedore stel gekoop dit het ook 'n TMZ nommer en is maar dieselfde groottes as die metrieke TMZ stel vanaf 'n 8mm tot by 'n 32mm. Hulle werk net nie lekker in tight spasies nie.

Irratic co-driver electric window

Hi all
Do any of you have problems with your electric windows. Mine started on the recent trip in June (then it works then it don't). The last month there was no problem but then again today it is just dead. I don't know where to start looking for a problem like this.

The 2.7VVTi is an 2008 model with only 43 000km on the clock, but this is a SRX. I think the raider run a bit higher on the body. It originally came out with 205/80 R 16" and the total lift changing to the 265 was about 35mm (Maybe in diameter will check again).

Hi Mark I've fitted about 2 weeks ago 265/70R16 to the 2.7VVTi and to be honest, one size smaller would have been better. Firstly the tyres are touching the stone guards when turning and when breaking hard, secondly the loss of power is big. If you are going to lift the body problem 1 will be better...

Louis Het jy al 'n besluit geneem? So 'n bietjie meer inligting oor die beskikbaarheid van die 265/75 16's. Aangesien die Continental's wat op die 2.7VVTi was teen 'n hoe spoed afgeloop het (43k) moes ek die week inderhaas opsit sit wat beskikbaar was, en al wat ek kon kry was Good Year A/T's. Moet ...

Louis Die bande se pryse verskil redelik en dan wag ek nou al amper 'n maand vir 'n stel Cooper STT's vir die 2.7VVTi. Dit is ook nie wat jy in gedagte het nie, so ek hoop die ander bande is meer bekombaar. Ek het op my 2.7 Pirelli's (huidig op 50k maar het nie meer veel om te gaan nie) maar oorweeg...
