Nic Basiccally in South Africa we do not require serious mixes. It is more for protection than for cold start. I mix at 50/50 (Glycol/water) which gives you protection for cold start at -49°C. I've tested cold start down to -35°C and at 50/50 the coolant starts to thicken. As long as you have a blue...

Cannot help you with a specific place, I know there is a German guy working on VW but cant even think what his name is.
Most of these places know what they do, but make sure that they pressure test the head at the machining shop if it is fixable.

Re: 15 or 16" tyres
Mark
The 2.7VVTi is an 2008 model with only 43 000km on the clock, but this is a SRX. I think the raider run a bit higher on the body. It originally came out with 205/80 R 16" and the total lift changing to the 265 was about 35mm (Maybe in diameter will check again).

Re: 15 or 16" tyres
Hi Mark I've fitted about 2 weeks ago 265/70R16 to the 2.7VVTi and to be honest, one size smaller would have been better. Firstly the tyres are touching the stone guards when turning and when breaking hard, secondly the loss of power is big. If you are going to lift the body problem 1 will be better...

Good Year A/T's. Moet ...

Re: Replacement of Center Carrier Bearing
Hi Bees Not sure if it is the same as the IFS's centre bearing, but I changed mine a week or two ago on an IFS DC and as someone said before remove the castle nut (IFS a locknut) and with a three legged wheelpuller pull it off after you marked it. Remember the two propshaft sections need to be on th...
