That 2.8TD is not a limited, it a normal 2.8TD Raider :think:

There was no 2.8D or 2.8TD limited unless someone special ordered it, but it was never advertised like that.

My friend got his Xtra cab yesterday, the first 4x4 in PE. I had a look at it today and took it for a drive. It's amazing how similar it is to my Triton Clubcab, but I definitely would have bought it rather if it was available 2 years ago when I bought my Clubcab......I'm still a Toyota man by heart...

Wish I was closer and I would have been there as well. Ferndale is my favourite mountainous trail in the Eastern Cape. Make sure you guys go up and down Diff-lock Alley, it's one of the best obstacles in the Eastern Cape. My triton did it with standard suspension and 32" Muds, so you guys shoul...

Maybe look at some of the narrower 16" tyres with an overall diameter of 33". The reason I say this is because I will never be able to fit 33x12.5R15 tyres on my bakkie, a Triton Clubcab, but with the correct offset rim I can fit a 285/75R16 tyres with NO suspension lift and NO bodylift. I...

Ja Cassie, and the auto box goes a long way to reduce those shock loads that cause breakages. The Hilex has 35" tyres and an engine 3 times more powerful than stock, and I never broke any drive train components. At the same time I had the Hilex I also had a V8 disco, with 29" stock slicks ...

I'm actually impressed, when I had the V8 fitted in 2006 everyone said the Gearmax axle will never last, I'll break everytime I touch the throttle. 4 years later and it's not broken yet...just a bit twisted. The rear gearmax diff-lock was fitted to that axle around 2002, the front locker around 2004...

Meet at the Humansdorp Engen at 9:00 to depart at 9:30, or meet at the Brakkeduine camp site at 9:45.

I had a KEW8000 that lasted for 3 serious recoveries. The magnets in the motor came loose, and eventually caused the motor to burn out. It has a really stupid design where the motor cannot be replaced like other winches, so I had to throw it away....some people's KEW8000 winches seem to keep on work...

Andrew as far as I know the grey hilux has a turbo diesel and the white one has a 2.7VVTi engine. Or at least that is what the guy from LA Sport told me.

I tried that difficult hill you didn't get up and boy, did you dig some serious holes :twisted: I eventually made it on the third attempt basically ploughing through on my bash plate as the holes where deeper than my little triton could reach with it's feet.

Don't damage the studs, they alone are about R450 for 12. I used the genuine toyota parts on my wheel spacers, because I didn't want to take any chances and they are also longest ones you can buy here in PE.

Second pic is a spin cut, not a crack. It's only into the block and not into the main carcase of the tyre. It was a sharp object in the sandbox a few k's from my house.
