Okay, before we go cutting the sheets for the canopy, how thick must the sheets be if we build a canopy without a frame? 3/5mm? or thicker?

yeah they are manufactured in the uk. and there in fact alot of Lad Rover Defenders with this canopy indeed. We'll, it's necaserry to i can lock it, if we go to a horse riding grand prix or something like that, i want the saddle and other things locked away, so something with a zipper wouldn't be safe enough.

The 3mm is so strong but it is overkill Agreed! 1.6mm is sufficient for the sides, provided there is a relativele sturdy frame like 10mm alu. square tubing. yeah i prefer without windows because i need to load all of my photograph material and snowboards, and all other expensive stuff, and i want it so that outstanders can't see that all of that is in there, so it's safer, if i need to park somewhere, also i will need good locks, and tha canopy will not...

my first goal is to ride al the way to italy, and then search a camping to stand with a tent, and stay at that camping the whole week, but we want to go bike riding around the garda lake, but the car would stay on the camping site. i tought about a 3dog trailer(offroad) and then a little ground tent...

yeah the lift i didn't know quiet yet if i was going to do that, but now i don't think so :), but harder suspension i guess i could do that, yeah wider tyres, i cant go that wide, because i don't havethe wideners on the wheel cases, i have the S version, i already have coated the load platform with ...

hey guys, it's a very long way down from ZA, 'm from belgium, i ride a 2008 hilux double cab, it's a ZA model btw, :) my goals for the hilux are a hardtop as soon as possible, a winchbumper by arb, i also would like to higher it by a few cm, harder suspension, and BF tires, 50/50. i am not going off...
