Not sure what the clock is but if cleaning the MAF helped thats great news. If you still do get a code pulling up a hill at around 3000rpm then try swopping those vacuum hoses around.

Re: P2008 fault code help
So mine was just the two vacuum hoses that had been swopped around. Not the easiest solenoid to get to as its right at the back of the motor below the EGR valve but worth a try! The car pulled better and had no more code. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20230525/7a6fd6658611083dca215bd9b0022d40.jpg...

Re: P2008 fault code help
Hi. Yes i did. After replacing the MAF sensor and the solenoid i eventually found a video on youtube showing how the solenoid opens the swirl control flaps and the two vacuum pipes on the solenoid were the wrong way around. I just swopped them around and all good now. My car only started giving code...

Re: D4D Hilux P0045 Error code - boost circuit open
Hi. I know this is an old post but did you come right or does anyone know the issue. I have swopped out the stepper motor, swopped out the Turbo control module, new map sensor, new maf sensor. Car drives mostly fine but sets 0045 code sometimes when cold. Boost is normal at 0.9 bar. Wiring seems ok....

Re: Hilux D4D Boost Issue!
Ok great thanks very much. Will check out all options. I really like the 1.3 boost but also worried it might damage the motor or turbo.

Hilux D4D Boost Issue!
Hi. I am not sure if this is a problem someone has had before, but i am just looking for some advice. My 2010 1kd Hilux with 285000km runs great with no problems except i feel it could do with a bit more power. This is where i feel like there is a problem with the actual turbo. I get around 0.9 bar ...

Re: P2008 fault code help
Thanks again Mud Dog. Post was helpful but still did not help me solve my problem. I have fitted a new MAF sensor as it was not giving the correct readings. It has helped slightly with performance but still get the fault code P2008 when pulling up hill at 3000rpm. The MAP sensor tests fine. The only...

Re: Thanks for accepting me
Yes 100% correct. I changed mine on my 2010 Hilux. A word of advise loosen the old ones with the engine hot. Tip i got from a mechanic and worked wonders. They can break very easily as i found out trying to do on a cold engine.
