Hi Koos, From your description I don't think you were using Tracks4Africa maps. When you switch to our maps on the Garmin it will not show any speed limits. If you saw speed limits you were using the map that came bundled with your Garmin. I travel Zambia quite a lot and did a trip to Malawi in 2014...
