Advice please. D4D - EGR unit. I have recently become aware of blocking off this valve.
Is it a good idea ? Pros and Cons ? Who offers this service on the East Rand ?

Advice please. I have read about the Exhaust gas reticulation on my 2009 D4D engine. Is it a good idea to blank it off. What are the pros and cons ?
If it is a good idea who can I take the vehicle to.

My 2009 Hilux D4D goes into limp mode. Computer indicates fuel leak. No visual leaks detected. Replaces fuel filter and 0 ring. still does it. Normaly happens if driven at low revs. Any advice ?

I have a 2009. Hilux D4d. DC 4x4 Manual. I got it on 200000km 3 years ago. It now has 350000Km, Besides oil service, brakes, fan and cam belt changes I have had no trouble. The clutch pedal has always been hard and I think it is starting to slip, I am also concerned about when to service the injecto...

I have read the discussions re Chips but ask the following question :
What is the difference chips / mapping.
My D4D has done 350000km and has to do another 3
50 000 because I cannot afford another, I am happy at 120 and get 10km per litre
Am I wasting my time looking at this issue

I have a 2009 hilux 3.0 D4D. 4x4 DC. It seems that the mounting bushes for the steering rack have excessive play. Toyota and pirate do not supply. The best Ive got is to take them to a guy who will make teflon or rubber ones. I live in Springs ( east rand ) Any advice ? Mike 0832669240
