Toyota haven't changed their interior light much at all, so much so that the covers from the 1999-2005 IFS Hilux will fit too, you might even be able to get one from Toyota ( I got mine from a scrap yard). Hi Joseph Just a note, the cabin light plastics does not get a hole so easily. I think a bigger bulb was used for brightness which gives off much more heat thus the melting of the plastic. Make sure it has the correct size bulb when reinstalling the new plastic cover. Thanks for this Bear. Yeah to ...

Thanks for all the valuable info Mud Dog! I'm still deciding, but I think I'm strongly leaning towards doing it myself. At the same time it is a daunting thought, like you said if I do one thing at a time it cant be that bad. Also the positives greatly outweigh all the negatives by doing it yourself...
