I think it's the case of both huge reserve & newly(ish) calibrated fuel gauge. Noticed the fuel needle started moving from point go once tank is fully filled, unlike my previous Hilux which only moves after abt 100km & consistently returned 760 - 790km for a full tank. So not very impressed ...

Hi guys, I recently brought a new 2.8 gd6 DC 4x4 and at about 4k on the clock I was getting 9.1lt /100, town driving, I subsequently had it chipped (unichip Q4) and took the ball and chain on a road trippie(400km) and got 7.2lt/100km[emoji55], I know right!?. I just hope the chip isn't throwing com...
