Kzte front diff drop

Morning all. Quick question..
I need to take my front diff out.
Can I remove the 4x4 locking hubs , take circlip off.
Undo bolts on diff. Drop it straight down. Question is. Will the splines going through to the hub slide out without removing the wheels.?

Hi all. Similar problem on my kz-te bakkie.
Sideshaft is leaking badly right front.
There is also a LOT of play on sideshaft entering diff.?
Not just the sideshaft but the first part of diff is very loose
