yep .... the plan was to change everything while I was in there, spigot bearing, whole clutch and throwout bearing .... Im thinking I still might try and seal it up now :) .. with a removable plug at the bottom.

If it's just so you can fit slightly bigger tyres why not lift the cab. Keep your cv's straight as you can and the centre of gravity low.

Gday all ... I have just removed the motor from my 1kzte with 5 speed manual and have noticed a fair bit of dirt/mud in the bell housing and on the back of the motor. Has anyone ever sealed up their bell housing to make it waterproof? Thoughts on why they aren't water tight to begin with? Heat from ...

What most posts are saying is true .... I have 33's on mine .... had to get rims with -22 offset ... cut and bash the guards ... and they still rub at a certain angle under load. There is a power loss out on the road and I cant crawl slow .... ( I would have to change the diff centres to fix that = ...

I have a 3 litre turbo diesel that is using coolant at an increasing rate ..... now uses about 200ml every hundred or so kms... I've had it pressure tested ... no leaks. It starts a dream. yep .... I thought as much ..there's more people that recommend it than what there is that don't ... I reckon I'll bite the bullet and blank it off. I'll wait 'til I can take everything off and clean it out ... manifold etc. 200 k+ km of soot been through there.

2004 ... no computer ... not even electric windows :) So have you or someone you know blocked it .... removed it .... blanked it ? Good thing to do? bad thing? run cooler?

Anyone ever put a blanking plate on their EGR Diesel ... I've got a 1kzte and want to know anything that anyone knows :)
