Hi Scotty Probably too late since your initial question, but I fitted an additional battery on the left side of the engine (looking from the front). I made a new bracket for the original (primary?) battery towards the driver and had to move the coil. The new position is higher, so watch the bonnet....

Hi Bennie Do you mean you want to get rid of your normal battery all together? That is not a good idea since deep cycle batteries are not suited for starting a cold engine.
