The recovery warranties that tracking companies such as Tracker, CarTrack and Netstar; are they worth it?
I have CarTrack's and there's a log of fine print. Do they actually pay out what they claim they do?

Re: Subscribing to multiple tracking companies
Thanks Mars.
The premium for CarTrack is included in my insurance premium. I am still the one paying for it obviously, but to be honest, TuffStuff's premiums are not that bad.
Regarding the draw, how bad is it? I am going to install a 2nd battery so I might as well connect the 2nd tracker to that?

I am insured with TuffStuff. In their policy it states that I am required to be subscribed to CarTrack. I suspect this is because CarTrack offers a non-recovery warrany (which TuffStuff will take). I am not happy with CarTrack, specifically their lack of early-warning capabilities. My question is: I...

What is one to do when a long trip is planned close to a service interval? For example, I have 2000km to my next service and my trip is 4000km.

My D4D 3.0 gets about 13.4 km/l in town. But on the open road this drops to about 11 km/l.
I thought that diesels were supposed to be more economical on the highway. Is my tuning wrong or something, or am I entirely mistaken?
