Hi, i had a similar issue with my lights been to high, there are 2 adjustment screws on each light, one on the bottom and one on the top hidden away but you can get to it with 10 socket.

hi.
on the older 4x4 with manual locking hubs , with the hubs unlocked and in 4x2 the front props are stationary.
on the newer models, there are no manual hubs so the front props are always turning, the 4x4 system disengages by means of a clutch. so in 4x2 the front props rotate.

A quick way to check the ball joints. sit next to your tyre, place you feet firm against the bottom, grab the top of the tyre behind and give it a good pull. you will see if your ball joint is failing, the tyre will move.

Your hilux 4x4 system doesn't disengage the front diff, the hubs are always locked so the cv are always turning when driving in 4x2, to test find a patch of grass or gravel and engage the 4x4 and do some tight turns while accelerating and see if you can hear a clunk clunk noise then you will know if...

I had a similar issue a few years back, check the bolts that secures the shock the bolt that secures the shock , mine was found to be warn out and replaced the rubbers on the shock as well.

regarding that drain pipe, mine blocked up from dust . and also noticed my floors where socked. if you block the open ed of the pipe and squeeze it a few times it unblocks itself. i had to do it twice to clear the pipe.

That's crazy, I insure my bakkie with Cross country insurance which is 4x4 insurance which is a 4x4 insurance that covers you when you go off road, most insurance companies dont cover your 4x4 when you go off road. I have 2 trackers and I pay roughly R900 a month.

Ask the dealership to pull up the bakkies service record on their system and try and see what ever if any repairs had been done to your van when it was in warranty so maybe it had an issue before that has now come back.

Mine did the same, have a look behind the fan at the shaft at the water pump. if you see any dry coolant residue, like a pale pink and white powder substance, then its your water pump which will need to be replaced, both my hiluxes did the same

When you reach 150 000km on your speedo, your cam belt or warning light will come on, it is a standard fetcher on the hilux. Change all your filters and oils. Check that your water pump isn't leaking mine started to round about 170 000 km mark.

A car without turbo has a different compression ratio than one fitted with a turbo. how are you managing this? Is this unit not just a supercharger working of an electric motor rather than a turbo charger? Is the electric motor a variable speed driving unit or fixed speed?

Once you have opned the bonnet, just check your negative wire going to the fuse box and earthing the car, i had exactly the same issue and i thought it was battery, it turned out to be the eart wire from the baterry.

Yes , I even tested how long my duel battery would run my machine, I tested it over 5 nights without chargeing the battery,all good.
I did the Limpop kruger trip 2 months ago, running an extension cord from the van to the tent and all worked 100%.
