I'm interested to here about your Surf Diesel engines... We in the U.S. don't have many that I know of. I have only see one thus far. I have always wanted one for myself, but don't know why they are scares around these parts. How do the Diesel engines in these Toyota trucks, compare to the Gas engin...

Well, I think I will bring this thread to a close... I have completed the cv axle removal, and replacement, along with new front shocks, and steering damper. Yup that one we saw. Your guys got the nicer option of engins. Here you only got the 2.2lt and 2.4lt with the carbs, there you had the 2.4lt on the SFA as the Efi and then later the 2.4 Efi turbo. I have worked on Barfield joints before, much easier than removing the cv axles imo

Well, after 26 years, I'm doing the 1st cv axle removal/installation and new shocks on the front of this Toyota. I believe they are original parts
