One day I needed a press to press a bearing. So I took some scrap
steel laying around and built one. You will see that this press
is not an oil painting, but it works fine.
I use a normal small 2Ton bottle jack with it.

The legs are made from 38x38mm square tubing with a 50mmx6mm flatbar
welded on to the bottom end for the bottom part of the press.

Then I made tow "beams" from 50mmx8mm flatbar. The bottom
one just rest on the leg and the top one has holes in where I put
a bolt in. This is to adjust it for different sized objects to be
pressed.

Note that I welded some supports on the inside of each beam.
