Hi Everyone.
I have two questions.
1. If you fit a 12volt Jack Plug for running your fridge on the back does this affect your Toyota Factory Warranty?
2. If you fit Spots on your Nudgebar how will this affect your warranty?
Looking forward to your replies.
Thx.

Re: Toyota Warranty
If DIY, quite likely. If professionally done, should be no problem but best choice would be to check with your dealer - and get it in writing.

Re: Toyota Warranty
The warranty terms around these things are mostly very unfair .... if you or a non-dealer workshop do any alterations / part replacements the warranty is often voided including on stuff that is completely unrelated.
I believe that the competitions board has stepped in and won a law suit that now allows you or any workshop to do any repairs / alterations / modifications without jeopardising the warranty unless it pertains to that particular work if it was done incompetently (and anything that may have been affected). They also have to justify / prove their case.
But don't take my word. Check this out first. It may not yet be in affect ... the wheels of government turn very slowly if at all sometimes.

Re: Toyota Warranty
You correct there Oom Andy.
I read article recently that they are planning to implement this change. But it may take a few months to iron out all the fine print... ie I'm sure it does not include your uncle the mechanic who actually works for toyota that would have most likely service you car at the dealership anyway
I think they said by March 2021... but if i know this government... we'll have another zondo drag this thing out until somebody made millions.

Re: Toyota Warranty
I didn't read it in depth Shaakir, just skimmed through it, but as I understood it does include "your uncle the mechanic" and even includes your own work but that any work done must have been done competently.
