Evening all.
So with me lookin for new spots lights I decided to love my light bar onto the roof rack (I know it’s been made illegal but anyways)
I now have interference on the radio when I turn the light on.
Does anyone have a solution for this?

Re: Light bar radio interference
Don't know that there is much you can do except relocate the light bar. Ensuring the wiring runs far from any antenna wires will help, as will ensuring the radio antenna is as far as physically possible from the light bar, but LED electronics do tend to generate a lot of RF interference. Check also that the antenna cable outer braiding is earthed to the car body.
If the light bar body is metal, ensure it is earthed to the car body. If it is plastic, not much you can do about that.

Yep, that's the advice I got too. I took one off an old PSU, stripped the copper, and threaded the wire to the spot around the core.

Re: Light bar radio interference
Morning guys.
So I found a ferrite bead on a old charger and installed it to the cable.
What a difference.
There is still a small amount of interference but here has been a 80% improvement.
