Thanks to Hobby for the procedure on how to do this but question is: How long can I go before I change the T-Belt?

The service interval is usually replacement every 100,000kms unless otherwise stated in the service manual. You can also check with the service dept of a dealership.
Have you had the vehicle from new or 2nd hand? What is the current mileage?

For the D4D engines it is every 150 000 kilometers.
