If you are able to join, sign up here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/XGHBCHQBe a Blessing is SIMPLE - it’s about making a difference in less privileged children’s lives and broadening their horizons through doing something we enjoy - OFFROADING. The aim is to build trust and relationships between all of the participants, drivers and passengers, for longer term benefit.
Many of the children face overwhelming challenges in their home environment, including poverty, collapse of family and community support environments, gangs and drugs to name but a few. Whilst we cannot necessarily overcome these on their behalf, the opportunity to give them firstly a day of escape from this, and secondly the opportunity to meet others outside their usual sphere of influence may just help give them positive reinforcement on life out there.
If we can make a difference in even one child’s life, is it not worth any effort!
