Has anyone been to the Lion Park resort just outside Gaborone? It basically looks like a lost city/ gold reed city setup from the website and the wife and kids is keen to go check it out over the long weekend in September. We will go camping but knowing websites can be very deceiving I would like to hear if it is at all worth the drive or should we look for alternative campsites??

Pieter, I have only been to the Royal Swazi Gamepark in the centre if the country, where the animals (Lions) are kept in camps...
You then have to go with them in a Game viewing vehicle in the camp to see the Lions...
This ia naturally at a COST...
The Camping there was rustic with old but serviceable ablutions in an open type campsite without power...
No knowledge of your campsite...
