Tyre Size vs Speedometer

Post by Mossienel »

The difference in power is so small-I don't even miss it with the EFI

I have 31's on the SFA and the speedo is almost spot on with the GPS - 100 km/h on the speedo reads at 101 km/h on the GPS. The odometer however under reads by about 5% against the GPS. ;-)

Louis. If it's for your 2,5 D-4D, then 245x75x16 is very close to the standard circumference. If your 2011 is as underpowered as my 2007 2,5 then it will battle to pull anything bigger, profile or width. Put in a chip and it'll pull 265x75x16. I doubt 15 inch wheels will fit over the disc calipers.

Correction that should read 245x70x16 not 245x75x16.
