Hilux 4x4 Forum

We are aware of the slow / no response from the forum. The problem seems to be server side and our service provider is currently looking into the matter.

But yet a Hilux and its forum is so attractive that it even attracts Jeep drivers.

I would like to remind you all that the web site will be offline tonight (27 Jan) from 22h00.
We will be migrating to a new server
If all goes well you will have your forum back by Monday morning.

Sorry I had the wrong time, you have 2 more hours to browse. The migration will start 10PM UK time, which is 00h00 our time and I am definitely not going to stay up to see if everything is working, I will rather get up early tomorrow morning.

Yup, I am awake as usual, but it will be an excuse for an 'early' night!

All seems well

There were some glitches early this morning, but now it seems fine. To me it seems a bit faster

Definitely faster. Not so much the loading speed (although I think it is a bit faster), but the response is way better .... doesn't sit there and hang for a few seconds before it starts loading the next page. Cool!

Seems better, even over here in the Arabain Gulf, need my daily forum fix.

I have sent and received numerous PM's this morning and had only one problem. Andy can you please tell us what problem you have?

One PM I sent, the recipient received the notification but PM was not in his inbox, but I think that was during the migration, this I posted the PM on one server and he had to read it on the new server, lost between the two

Besides that I have not seen any problems

Mmmm... thought I had been banned from the forum had to type in that little authentication code... sneaky.. I hate those things, often they are impossible to identify... or maybe I'm not human...

I also hate those code things. Dont know why they cannot just rather use a simple question and answer scenario, like "what is the best 4x4?"

Then they would be denied access. It would be one way to force Shawn Jeepie to admit that Hilux is the best!

The PM issue I had seems to be resolved.

A couple of us are having constant login problems

Cos Robots are programmed to say Hilux as a DEFAULT.

It seems the whole migration is now complete and the DNS updated.

Don't know about you guys but over here he forum is flying
