Hi Guys.
We have just redone the rear wheelbearings on my hilux 3.0 D4D, doublecad 2x4.
The grinding noise is gone, But now im stuck with a strange vibration/noise, when braking, but only ones the bakkie almost comes to a complete stop, that last end, the noise appears, as if there is air in the system, and the pedal vibrate, and push your foot up.
we did bleed the system, alround as well as the load sensor unit... is there any special way to bleed the brakes.. or has anyone ever came across this..
Advice please guys.

When you replace the bearings, did you replace the ABS sensor ring as well? I'm just guessing but this might be feedback from the ABS system

I also had the same problem and thought it was the abs. Toyota skimmed my discs on the last service and problem is gone. Everything back to normal and no more thumping against the brake pedal (Usually did it with long donwhills)

Hilux is sorted.
The Right rear sensor on the ABS was not fitted deep enough, the guys who did the work for me, broke the o-ring, and replace it with another one, hinder the sensor to go in all the way, leaving the sensor too far from the pick up rings :-)))
