Hi guys and gals

Been promising my CupCake some fishing for a while now but haven't come around doing it yet. So it's getting warmer and with my birthday on 28 October, a day out would be really nice. I'm proposing October 29 for the outing but am open to ideas on venues. Have not been out fishing so long I porbably forgot

I'll rely on oom Dawie for some lessons prior to the day

So let's get the rods out, brush the dust off as in my case, and see what we can come up with,

How about we do a fly fishing day?I know a few spots,the temp is climbing so trout is out,yellowfish time now

can use a normal rod for yellows.

A bath now and then helps,

, I also try my level best though on weekends the itch is much more,

,Yellowfish will be the place,bring goods for late afternoon braai,fishing equipment.Who else is with us?

Guys just remember to take your freshwater fishing license with. If you don't have one I believe you can buy it at your local SARS office.

Seeing that its so close to my home town, I will take the guys out to the farm for a nice view at the viewpoint. Also we can go play in the (hopefully by then muddy) nearby slopes and get some chance to test the diff breathers.

For those that might be interested time permitting the Sunday afternoon I will show around the Dome area and also take you to see original pink granite.

Hi all,back from my nap(work),i spoke to Bill from yellowfish today,camping is first come first serve(no bookings),the bungalos must be booked,u can call him on 016 9877199 if u want one,there are powerpoints avail.JohanM,that sounds great,so i guess we will have to make it a whole weekend affair

Neil it can be done but I would rather recommend a late afternoon drink up there as it is most spectacular then up there, and combine it with a braai and some star Gazing at night provided the skies are clear.
