African Offroad Academy (Western Cape) is presenting an Accredited Off-Road Vehicle Operator Certificate (OVOC) course on 12/13 Nov 2010. This is an accredited course and is based on Unit Standard 254135 - Apply the techniques for operating four wheel drive (4WD) vehicles, in on-road and off-road conditions. This will possibly be the last training course for 2010, as we are rapidly approaching December and the season for year-end functions and dead-lines.

Your Training team consists of:
-Thys de Jager (Instructor),
-Riaan van der Berg (Instructor),
-Dirk Theron (Instructor),
-Paul Minnaar (Instructor),
-Anton Ferreira (Assessor).

This training session will be run from Friday evening (Theory Session) and Saturday (Practical Assignments) and possibly Sunday morning (Formal Assessment and written exams). Training will take place at our Training Centre at The4x4Co Fitment Center in Stellenbosch, corner of Adam Tas and Papegaairand. The practical driving assessment will be done at Two Oceans 4x4 trail between Stellenbosch and Somerset West.

The cost for the training course is R1250. This includes the following:
-Training Manuals
-Offroad Logbook
-Accredited training.
-Accredited assessment
-Letter of attendance
-Moderation
-Competency Certificate from the TETA (this gets mailed to you)
-Cloth Badge
-4x4 Driver's License Card

This is an accredited course and is based on Unit Standard 254135 - Apply the techniques for operating four wheel drive (4WD) vehicles, in on-road and off-road conditions. This will the first training course for 2011, kicking off a year of hard work and lots of learning.

Your Training team consists of:

-Riaan van der Berg (Instructor),
-Paul Minnaar (Instructor),
-Anton Ferreira (Assessor).

This training session will be run from Saturday (Theory Session and Practical Demonstration/Assignments) and Sunday (Formal Assessment and written exams). Training will take place at our Training Centre at The4x4Co Fitment Center in Stellenbosch, corner of Adam Tas and Papegaairand. The practical driving assessment will be done at Two Oceans 4x4 trail between Stellenbosch and Somerset West.

Thys, ek stel belang om dit volgende jaar te doen, vroulief soek eers n kersgeskenk, is die kursus in Afrikaans en Xkosa ook beskikbaar.?

Nog een wat ek nie gaan maak nie, klink of ek eers einde Jan terug kom RSA toe......

Ons gaan voor die einde van 2010 ons beplanning doen vir training in 2011. Ongelukkig het ons het hierdie jaar redelik "reaktief" opgetree, omdat ons nie regtig tyd gehad het om ernstige beplanning te doen nie, en Anton redelik besig was met die nuwe winkel en so aan. Maar dis nou iets van die verlede, ons kyk vorentoe...

Vir 2011 be-oog ons om training datums te identifiseer vir die jaar en alles gelyk adverteer. Sodoende kan elkeen wat belangstel bespreek op die datums wat hom/haar die beste pas. Ons sal ook ad-hoc kursusse tussenin kan akkommodeer, sou die behoefte/getalle dit regverdig. Verder wil ons soveel as moontlik waarde toevoeg tot die 4x4 gemeenskap wat ons dien. Ons kom daar uit waar ons wil wees, stadig maar seker.....
