What's the differences between SRX and Raider?

Oom Eric said that the SRX didn't come standard with diff-loc. Is it a totally different diff to the Raiders?

Also, if anybody can give me any information on differences in trimming inside and out and technical specifications etc.

Any info will be appreciated.

The Raider also has mags and I believe the Excalibers is also only on the Raider. Inside the raider has electric windows, aircon and cruise control which I'm not sure the SRX has

I think the SRX also does not have airbags and ABS - the SRX is a base model.

Did all 4x4 d/c Raiders from 1999 come with diff-loc,airbags,cruise control,electric windows etc?

Don't think so. We're basically referring to the latest models

My 99 SRX DC het wel elktriese vensters, kragstuur, lugreeling, gearlock, sentrol lock en treetrappe. Hy het nie airbacks, diflock en uitstaande modderskerms nie. Hy het staal rims en nie mags nie.

Correct. it doesn't have these features.

The 1999 SRX does, however, feature the following:

Roll bar
Nudge bar
Tinted Windows
225mm ground clearance
Power steering
Electric windows
Remote central locking
Remote controlled immobiliser
Air conditioner
Electric windows
Sliding rear window
Radio & CD
Rev counter / trip meter
81 litre fuel tank (DC)
Side steps with end cap

The other specs, including the interior trim, are identical with the Raider, apart from the differences already mentioned above.

Eric nou het jy my meer vertel van my eiebakkie wat ek nie eer s geweet het nie. Van daardie goed het ek gedink is aftermarket aan gebring.

Dankie vir al die inligting, ek het na 'n SRX gekyk om te koop, maar was in baie swak kondisie!

so is it better to buy an srx and fit aftermarket goodies , or buy the raider with all the extras fitted

Dakill, the Raiders are a lot more available second hand. Also in my opinion I would buy the Raider as I prefer the look of the wheel arch mouldings ect of the raiders, and it comes standard with a diff lock fitted.

Ek sal ook as ek nou moet koop eerder die Raider koop.

Toe ek my trok gekoop het, het die 99 Raiders wat tekoop was dubbel die kilos opgehaad en was gemiddeld R20k duurder as die SRX wat ek gekry het.

Maar in die anderkant as ek luister na wat die manne op die forum sê is dit beter om 4x4 teleer sonder diflock. Al hoekom ek nou 'n diflock sal wil hê is om die natuur te beskerm, dan grawe 'n ou nie so baie nie.
