Good day all
I'm Delport from Thabazimbi. I'm new to the forum and a new Hilux owner.
I recently sold my VW Polo and decided to get the bakkie that I've always wanted, so I bought myself a 1997 2.4 D/C Hilux Raider. She is in great condition, recently had the engine overhauled, has a new Old Man Emu suspension, a winch, spotlights, hunting frame and a canopy. Since I got it I added a canvas canopy to the hunting frame and added canvas dashboard cover with pockets, hopefully next is a rooftop tent and a more modern radio and at a later stage I'll also ad a snorkel.
My hobbies include anything outdoor related, I'm a big reptile enthusiast and always on the search for snakes and other reptiles, I'm a freelance photographer and a full time helicopter pilot.
I'm looking forward to learn more about my hilux and 4x4ing from all the knowledgeable people on this forum.

When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
Life is like a jar of Jalapeño peppers ... what you do today, might burn your ass tomorrow.
Don't take life too seriously ..... no-one gets out alive.
It's not about waiting for storms to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.
And be yourself ..... everyone else is taken!
