Drawer system rails for trailer
My friend wants to build a drawer system for his trailer. He requires a supplier that can sell him 1.6m rails. Any idea of where in Port Elizabeth or anywhere else you can buy them.
He searched on the internet, as usual, the overseas suppliers pop up. For safety, he wants to buy locally in PE or SA.

No 1.6m? He will have wasted space if he can't utilize the full length of the trailer.Obelix and Dogmatix wrote:http://www.4x4direct.co.za/canopy-hardw ... -p-441.htm

Unfortunately 1.4 is the biggest we can get

depends how you rig it ....Rebel 4x4 wrote:No 1.6m? He will have wasted space if he can't utilize the full length of the trailer.Obelix and Dogmatix wrote:http://www.4x4direct.co.za/canopy-hardw ... -p-441.htm
they have a 1.4 m slide
1,4m SLIDE, but 1,6m bottom section, with removable crates (ammo boxes). The ones at the end can only be accessed once you remove another row of boxes .... SHLEP, but an option. And when you see the price difference between 1,4 and 1,6m it may well be a real option !!

Re: Drawer system rails for trailer
The slides don't have to be the full length of the bed, just what you mount on them does. 20cm still inside the trailer is very much with in reach
Happy trails

We did this for a guy in the back of an Isuzu from Kokstad. We used rollerscate wheels on the drawer for it to run on.

Gelmar also sells slides. Not sure how long they have.
