Hi All
I have to travel to Vryheid on Wednesday during the day ,from Pretoria
which route is the best condition to Ermelo/Piet Retief road or N3 Standerton/ Newcastle .

Don't drive Standerton - full of stop and goes. PTA to Vryhied should be 5 hours max... Took 7 hour via Standerton about 2 months ago.
On the way back went Ermalo and it took 5hour, I think it's 50km longer and there is a tollgate... But much better road.
You have been warned :-) don't go standerton
