2001 Hilux Upgraded to Bull Nose Shape PICS ADDED!!
I recently asked if would be possible here on the forum to upgrade my 2001 Hilux to the Bullnose shape. Yes, it is. I went all the way and got the full Bull Nose look.
Parts used:
1. Cradle
2. Corner / indicator lamps
3. Bonnet
4. Upper Bumper
5. Lower Bumper
6. Head Lights
7. Grille & Toyota Badge
8. Labour cost from Pera Auto in Randburg (included panelbeating the loadbin, respraying the tailgate, loadbin, bonnet, fenders and new bumpers. Also replacing the cradle - R10 000 excluding the parts of almost R5000.
Thanks Guys!!! FIGURED THE PICS OUT!!
BEFORE:
Loadbin panelbeated and sprayed, it looked like it fell off a truck before. The bakkie was used in a steel factory and they used a forklift to load heavy stuff onto it. Had huge dents on both sides.
New Cradle in, new bonnet on, sanding before polishing
Tailgate also sorted!
Just out the Spray Booth
On arriving home, I spent 2 days stripping and cleaning the interior.

THE END RESULT:

HOW DO I LOAD PICTURES?
Now let's see those pics!
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
Life is like a jar of Jalapeño peppers ... what you do today, might burn your ass tomorrow.
Don't take life too seriously ..... no-one gets out alive.
It's not about waiting for storms to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.
And be yourself ..... everyone else is taken!

Would now love to know if I can fit a nudge bar or replacement bumper - problem is which one.
I had the original nudge bar powder coated and now it does not fir anymore. Some suppliers reckon the Bull Nose nudge bar and the Bullbar from BTM will not fit now. I don't want to buy one that won't fit.
