Hankook dynapro load issues??

Hi All. During my quest to find replacment tyres for my current BFGs, i went looking at a lot of tyres and in my humble opinion the best looking alternative (tread pattern at least) was the Hankook dynapros. They do not seem to be rates too bad but they do have the lowest load rating (1060kg) of all the all terrains I have looked at. Most are around the 1120kg mark and very few around 1400kg.

Now I dont have a trailer or caravan so my Lux can be pretty heavy loaded on roofrack etc for the longer trips. Will this lower rating therefore be a disqualifier? I only looked at the specs and dont have a feel for what its worth. Does anybode else run Hankooks with a load? They lasting or not? They are quite pricey so dont want to be sorry and stuck somewhere in Moz with blown tyres.

Also how common are Hankooks? Will I find tyres at most dealers??

Pieter. they work for me. went 4x4 n few times fully loaded without any problems.

I Have them on a work bakkie - Isuzu KB250 carrying almost exclusively full loads of animal feeds every day. No issues

My friend Anton drove with Hankook Dynapro MT's on his Fortuner for a few years. Numerous trips to the Namib, Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and other places without problems...

As die load rating 1060kg is kan 4 bande so 4 ton dra en dan is daar nog 'n groot veiligheids faktor ook. Ek glo/hoop :D nie jy gaan ooit soveel op jou bakkie laai nie

Ok weer waar. Dankie Louis. Ek dink darem nie my vrou sal genoeg plek kry om 4t op te maak nie... Maar jy he gesien hoe lyk hy semi gelaai daar by Moegatle voor die opslaan (en omslaan... :-( ).
Die hankooks is net nog duurder as die BFs... Ek shop maar nog bici rond. Maar my hart trek na die Hankooks toe as ek sou weggaan bd BFGs af.
