I went to a sporting good shop this morning and while my better half was buying shoes, I was very bored and saw that the shop sells 8-balls for R29 each.. So I bought one.. She said "Jy kan darem geld op bollie uitgee, wat wil jy daarmee maak?".. I just said wait and see... :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:

I went back into the garage and drilled a big fat hole in the back (or front) of the 8-ball...

Seeing as everything was fitting together well, I mixed some pratley steel and filled the hole. Then I shoved the long nut in the hole..

Dont know about the threads of the Hilux gear lever. On the Jeep a normal M8 nut's thread fits. :twisted: :twisted:

On my way to work this morning while I was stuck in traffic I unscrewed my Vigo's gear knob.. The thread is very fine,so a special nut will be required to make one like this for a Hilux.. :think: :think:

The other way you can do it is drill and tap it M8..... :thumbup:
To get the thread size on the hilux use a thread gauge..... :thumbup:
