Please be aware that these are the current Specific Guidelines and record you have to beat. However, you are responsible for obtaining the most up-to-date information on this record, as Guinness World Records will not directly inform you of any changes. Attempting this record
Once you have decided to attempt a record, you have two options:
• Hire a Guinness World Records adjudicator to attend and verify your record attempt live and on-site
• Document and compile evidence of your record attempt and submit to Guinness World Records for verification
When you hire a Guinness World Records adjudicator you have on-site support from one of our team of expert adjudicators. They attend your record attempt to ensure it adheres to the Record Guidelines and will, if successful, announce the new Guinness World Records title live at your event. Our adjudicators are experienced media commentators and can act as a Guinness World Records spokesperson at your record attempt to any radio, TV and newspaper journalists.
The presence of a Guinness World Records adjudicator is the only way you can immediately know whether your record attempt has been successful.
The Adjudication Service also gives you direct access to one of our expert Adjudication Managers, who will help you through the record application and planning process. The cost of the Adjudication Service starts from £4,500 and you are responsible for the transportation and accommodation for your adjudicator. For further details contact the team on:
adjudication@guinnessworldrecords.com
Alternatively, you can document and compile evidence on your record attempt and submit it to Guinness World Records for verification. All the evidence that we require is detailed in the Specific Guidelines and the general evidence requirements are detailed in the Evidence Required document attached. The standard verification process takes 4-6 weeks and, if successful, Guinness World Records will provide you with a certificate commemorating your record-breaking achievement.
Should you wish to have your evidence reviewed more quickly then you can upgrade to Fast Track, which gives your evidence priority review within three (3) working days. You can upgrade to Fast Track at any time via this link: [URL].
If you are compiling your own evidence, this should be submitted, along with the completed schedules 2 and 3 of the ARRA, to our offices where it will be reviewed in a strict order of arrival:
