Kzte pump

Please advise...
Bought my 2000 kzte and the previous owner took electronic pump off and put machanical one on. Result is hi diesel consumption and no top end power. Where can i get new or recon pump for the bakkie would love it to operate at its optimal. Got few quotes but pumps all out of Cape town, then the plugs for the pump looks to be cut off.

Any advise would be apreciated.

I don't know where you will get it - I am in P-Town

. You will also need an ECU. Hopefully they did not strip that out as well. It is behind your glovebox.

You will have to source a donor vehicle at a scrap yard and buy the loom, ECU, alarm box, transponder and key out of the same vehicle.

The colt 2.8 mechanical pump is another option, an improvement on the 2L2T pump most people fit.

I have a spare KZ pump - but I understand it is from the Prado and differs from the Hilux??? If you could get a Prado loom, then perhaps?

Thabo would one not be able to modify that pump to fit kzte anybody got an idea?

i have a pump for you,when i replaced my engine en on the kz,the new engine came with a pump

Just curios did you crack the top of the old motor seems that is the problem with the Kzte motor?

Any advice from community to try and prevent that if the case, any mods maybe Sac conversion?

no,is stil have the complete engine,there was a small hole burned in to piston no 3,i am sure that it was over feuling

It bolts on, you just need to sort the electronics

Just found out my bakkie is a 3L e
with a Kzte motor fitted. Gearbox on bakkie now for 3 lit and not Kzte so the box packed up.
I'm stuck in Arniston at the moment anybody know where I can get my hands on a Kz box for bakkie?
Wanna put electronic pump on bakkie was told the 3lit d does not have the loom or ecu. Getting lil despondent now with everything, anybody know who would be able to do such mod if possible.
