Had a SFA in which I put asbestos fibre matting under the carpet, which worked well for heat as well as a sound dampener.
This you would get from people who make fire deterrent products.

We are easy and will do anything the majority decide on.
So will be happy to join in whatever gets decided on.
We have not been to the Lion Park, so will be happy if the decision is to go there,

While you are travelling the solar panel will be charging the trailer battery. With nothing else working while you are travelling you will have no issues, especially starting off with a full battery. Firstly, welcome to the forum, Rhys.
Keep it standard with the stance, otherwise you will have bearing problems.
An after market suspension will make the ride height acceptible.
Make sure you fit heavy duty for your type of loads or overlanding.
