Re: Volt/Amp meter on 12v charging system
I have installed the identical Amp/volt meters on my system. If you keep it on it will drain you battery within a week. The LED screen consumes a significant amount of power during 24 hrs. I verified this by checking the mA drawn by the meters from the battery and found that this is the main reason...

Re: Deep cycle battery advice
Does anybody have an Enertec 674DS 105Ah deep cycle installed in their Vigo (specifically 4.0L V6)? Dimensions on the online shopping site indicates that it will either JUST fit or JUST not! No need to apologize. I would guess that one of the split cables will be the correct size. Your question is rather confusing, to me at least. I have no clue what a Lumeno system is, so maybe try posting a pic or two. Maak net seker jy meng nie 220V en 12V nie. Die in van die charger is 220V en die uit 12V. Jy kan in en uit meng solank alles net die selfde volts is. Re: PWM Solar Charge controller and smaller batteries
Hmmm. Interesting conflicting arguments here. Obviously, covering part of the panels can't do any harm, but in some cases one would want to charge the battery as quickly as possible without causing damaging to the equipment.
I'd like to see what others say.

Hi, I am a huge fan of BFG's (using MT KM on my SFA and AT KO on my Vigo). I was just wondering if age could become an issue if you don't put a lot of km's on them (12 000 km / year)?
