Picked up a plate while driving this morning. The plate is 1 meter long and 8 mm thick. Got caught between the chassis and fuel tank. Above the bumper with a view of the bumper will be better in my opinion, but mine gives a view of the tow bar which works for me.
Yes I agree. Seeing the tow ball does make it a lot easier to hook up.

I fitted the camera just above the number plate on the bumper. Placing it higher facing down would be better.

So as requested I checked how the camera works at night and I was pleasantly surprised. As you can see there is more than enough light from the reverse lights to see what is behind the vehicle on the camera.

Nee geen vibrasies nie. Wat baie help is dat die arm bo op die "bracket" druk met die spaar wiel op. Met die uitrek van die pen is daar dan genoeg opwaartse trek krag om die arm weg te kan swaai. Selfs my vrou kry dit maklik reg. Ek ry nog altyd met die nommer plaat op sy oorspronklike ple...

Ek het een gebou wat net op die tow bar was boud. Was baie eenvoudig om te bou en kan afgeboud word as dit nie gebruik word nie. Sal n paar fotos neem as ek kans kry en dit post.
