Seems your choice was the correct one. 8) The OME suspension will give you a very nice drive that you will not believe you can get from a Hi lux. :wink:

D4D if your bakkie is not using oil I will not worry to much. I clearly think it is the fuel that we are using that causes a bit of smoke when changing gears. Did they change your spark plugs with NGK or Champions :?:

Bees jy sal sekerlik 90% van die plekke kan ry in 4x2 maar dis nie aanbeveelbaar nie. Mr H Maybe you are not reading the posts above to help with the confusion. As Piet petoors explained the front and rear diff is having that center part where the driving shaft is connected. This you will find on SFA and IFS diffs. So yes you can fit a diff lock to a IFS. Forget the fact about the CV...

It is not the suspension that allows a diff lock. If a vehicle is 4x4 there will be a diff in the front and should you have a diff lock option in front it will lock the diff spiral gears. It doen not matter if it is a SFA or IFS.

I make use of a invertor and energy saver lamps for lights at the camping spot. Must say my camp looks like new york in the night and it is quiet. I will not use a gennie when I camp as it is costing petrol and it is noisy.

Ek kamp tussen Groenrivier en Hondeklipbaai daar waar niks is nie. Ek geniet die eenvoud en natuurlik die feit dat jy langs die see kamp. Die son is genoeg en sommige dae kan baie warm wees.

D4D I do not think that you will have any damage to your spark plugs and oil. It surely depends on the amount of diesel in the tank but if it was only smoking during changing of gears I think the amount of diesel was not to much. Luke my advice will be stay out of the water :) The 22R will not get wet at the distrubitor so easy but do not tempt to even go that deep into water as you should then also seal your diffs. At the end of the day you are going to have a lot of problems anyway.

Wicus kan jy 27185 tot 27275mhz in die radio programeer en wattter frekwensies kan jy op die 29mhz programeer. Miskien kan jy dit gebruik as CB en of 29 mhz 4x4. Ek sal gaan kyk wat die 29mhz frekwensies is en jou laat weet.

Well personally I think this brake system will only work if you are catch in a xross axcle situation and when you are already stuck. I have used my hand brake in simular situations and it is working in some degree to help you over the obstical but it will never be a lock diff. Before I go the route ...
