I found my old original switch lever assembly for the LTD, I'm not going to try to fix it now, but it's available if you need spare parts...

I had the same thing happen on my LTD. They had to replace the whole stalk assembly (not sure what it's called). Back in those days it was a lot of $$! I managed to get one off a Cressida, with a little "work" it fitted. But the auto electricians could not fix the switch. Hope for your sak...

I also have a NL dual battery setup in the bakkie. Recently got a solar panel (90w). The idea was to keep the battery charged for a week. It worked great, but my solar panel does not like ANY shade. Ran the battery flat the first day. I then took the panel into the sun for a full day, and it recharg...

Yip, the LTD came with a winch.
Also those spots are not the original, nor are the rock-sliders or rear bumper.
I don't see any of the original LTD stickers... ??
That said, those are just cosmetics...

My inverter is rated at: 500 watt 2.15a continuous 700 watt 3.05a for 5 min 1000 watt 4.3a surge So if the meals need to be cooked in under 5 min! hhmm... could be worth getting a 700w microwave and testing at home... with fire extinguisher in hand!

I have been thinking about turning the bracket, on the seat upright, upside down. That way, when the lower seat part is down, the upright part is pushed UP and the seat is kept in place. Hi Noel, Sorry, but I have to ask... you DO have a Gas Regulator on your gas bottle, right? The other thing I found was that you need a spirit level to get the gas to work correctly. I used to carry a few pine planks with me to get the fridge 100% level. I could never get the fridge to work off 12v....

I've been thinking about doing this, glad to see I'm not the only one who misses the rear seat fold DOWN!

But what keeps the seat upright now? Maybe I don't understand your mod, but in my mind, you've modified the bracket which keeps the seat in place??
