I had the same thing happen on my LTD. They had to replace the whole stalk assembly (not sure what it's called). Back in those days it was a lot of $$! I managed to get one off a Cressida, with a little "work" it fitted. But the auto electricians could not fix the switch. Hope for your sak...

Also those spots are not the original, nor are the rock-sliders or rear bumper.

Hi Noel, Sorry, but I have to ask... you DO have a Gas Regulator on your gas bottle, right? The other thing I found was that you need a spirit level to get the gas to work correctly. I used to carry a few pine planks with me to get the fridge 100% level. I could never get the fridge to work off 12v....

I've been thinking about doing this, glad to see I'm not the only one who misses the rear seat fold DOWN!

But what keeps the seat upright now? Maybe I don't understand your mod, but in my mind, you've modified the bracket which keeps the seat in place??
