Re: Body mounting bushes? (was never the problem)
So for the fifth time work was done to the driveshaft. 3 times repair and 2 times rebuild. High spots on a brake drum caused a vibration and I thought it was the driveshaft, after taking the driveshaft in I was told that the slipyolk was worn and needed replacing (1st rebuild) +- a year ago. So afte...

Re: Body mounting bushes?
When its cold weather or has 4 occupants it drives like a dream. When its warm weather or when ive been driving for more that half an hour its starts to drive like rubbish. You say shocks can be ruled out but I'm not so sure ..... what you describe is typical of a hard shock absorber or one that is...

Body mounting bushes? (was never the problem)
Good day all, A irritating matter i've got with my KZ.... When its cold weather or has 4 occupants it drives like a dream. When its warm weather or when ive been driving for more that half an hour its starts to drive like rubbish. Shocks and suspension bushes can be ruled out as they are not older t...

Re: KZTE felt sluggish...This is what i found in the intake and need help.

Re: KZTE felt sluggish...This is what i found in the intake and need help.
Rede hoekom ek catch can gaan insit.

Re: KZTE felt sluggish...This is what i found in the intake and need help.
you can use throttle body cleaner spray to clean the areas of the piping which have sensors. for the normal pipe pieces you can use acetone. Ek sal dit probeer. Dink julle daar is sensors binne in die intake manifold? Ek sal net weer moet gaan kyk.

AFAIK Kz's don't have EGR's. That bit of oil is not really a concern. There are quite a few tips and trick on this forum to improve Kz performance. Search for 'Airbox mod', Freeflow exhaust and intercooler and Unichip. What does the butterfly valve do? For me it is a concern...I'm no mechi but a in...

KZTE felt sluggish...This is what i found in the intake and need help.
Good day gents I compared my KZ with a friends KZ and mine felt sluggish. Curiosity got the best of me and i removed the the pipe between the turbo and what i believe is the EGR valve. So what i found was black gunk. I believe the intake manifold is going to look terrible. What would be the best to ...

Re: KZTE help needed
Have you checked all the fuses? Could be that a fuse blew with the replacement of the battery. Could even just be a poor connection being made at the fuse box. You could also locate the immobilizer unit and check that there is power to it. Not sure about the KZTE but on thy SFA's it was usually loc...

KZTE help needed
Hi Guys
I wonder if someone here can help me out with my KZTE immobilizer. Battery went flat and after replacing the remote doesn't work on the vehicle. I'm in the eastern cape and Toyota Uitenhage couldn't help me. Any help or direction would be appreciated.

No where near a pulley but the possibility is there. Will take the timing belt cover off to see if any fluid seeped in there. Could it be that some air got trapped?

Bearing outer is stewig in plek.

Kzte agter bearing replacement
Gro...
